What does a COLOR WHEEL have to do with anything?  Recently I purchased a color wheel for my house.  You may wonder why?  I believe you should never work with color without one!  Whether you are redoing a room in your house, trying to figure out what colors to wear together in your closest, trying to decide on wedding colors, making a flower arrangement, etc. (you get the point), you need to know how to choose and mix your colors.
Often times people will wear colors together that don’t work or decorate a room with 2 or 3 colors that clash rather than flow.  This may not be due to bad taste, just lack of knowledge or help.  There are certain ways to blend colors together and contrast colors in a complimentary way.  By no means I’m I a pro at this, but that is why I love the color wheel.  It is easy to follow and really helps!
You choose colors directly across from one another on the color wheel, they will be a complimentary and the colors will pop.  If you chose colors beside each other on the color wheel, they will flow together with much less pop.  Using the color wheel to check color choices, makes choosing colors for anything pain free and easy.  Best of all people won’t want to cover their eyes, when they walk in your newly decorated room, arrive at your wedding, or best of all when they see you in that new outfit choice.
Now your thinking, how can I get a color wheel of my own.  For a very, very inexpensive price you can purchase one of your very own at a craft store in the paint section(Michael’s) or go to www.colorwheelco.com.   They even make a pocket size, so you can always have it with you!
